1. Do I have to pay for the initial consultation with the doctor?
Absolutely not. When a potential patient contacts us, the first thing we have to do is ensure that they are eligible for the treatment and whether we can help. To do this, we schedule a free, no-obligation, in-depth consultation with our doctors to find out more about the patient’s condition, diagnosis, and prospects.
In this consultation, you can also ask any questions about stem cell therapy: whether it helps with your condition and how, what the possible contraindications are, and what your next steps could be.
With this information, you can decide whether you would like to apply for the treatment with us, but you do not pay anything until the pre-booking.
2. How much does stem cell therapy cost?
The diagnosis, stage of disease, patient age, and level of care required all affect how much the treatment will cost. We create a customized treatment plan for each patient, which inevitably leads to a wide range of potential expenses. Generally, the cost can be anywhere between €7,000 and €25,000.
To find out what the cost could be in your case, we encourage you to book a free, no-obligation consultation with our specialists.
3. Does the price only cover stem cell therapy?
We believe in a holistic, cover-it-all approach to the treatment program, especially considering the trip to another country that our patients have to make.
For that reason, we cover not only stem cell therapy but also:
- all the necessary in-depth checkups, before and after treatment;
- all the procedures, both including stem cells and other treatments;
- all prescriptions and post-treatment medications;
- accommodation in the clinic or nearby hotels (as decided by the doctors);
- accommodation for one companion;
- meals, including special requests;
- transfer from and to the airport;
- translator, if necessary;
- post-treatment consultations;
- follow-up checkup several months after the treatment.
The only thing we do not usually cover is flight tickets.
4. Is stem cell therapy covered by my medical insurance?
Stem cell treatment is generally not covered by medical insurance. However, the terms and conditions of the insurance companies may vary. We encourage you to contact your insurance provider and discuss the possible options with them.
5. Do I need a visa to come to Serbia?
You don’t need a visa if you are a citizen of the EU, the UK, the USA, Israel, Norway, Iceland, Australia, or New Zealand. Citizens of other countries are able to easily issue a standard tourist visa for their visit.
6. Is it safe for me to visit Serbia?
Yes, absolutely. Serbia is a well-developed and peaceful country in Southeastern Europe, just 2.5 hours by flight from major European cities. The majority of the population speaks English, the safety in Belgrade is on par with London, and overall, it is a very calm and picturesque country.
And even if you don’t feel like exploring Serbia, we’ve got you covered: we provide free transfers from and to the airport, accommodation, meals, and a translator if necessary.
